In 2008 The Civil Aviation Authority of Uruguay (DINACIA) accredited Somerset House as the 1st Uruguayan center for the assessment of the linguistic competence of pilots and air traffic controllers, under ICAO standards (CL/001).
We then started working on Positive Rate, the 1st English for aviation program, developed by English language teachers, pilots and technicians with sound knowledge of teaching, evaluating and the aviation sector.
