Ana Soria - PRINCIPAL

Ana has worked in the ELT field since 1996. She holds a TESOL certificate from Trinity College, London, and a postgraduate in College Teaching from University of London. In 2001 she did a Postgraduate Course in Methodology for Overseas Teachers at Oxford House College, London.
In recent years she has developed three language programmes:
Spanish for foreigners, English for the Military with a focus on peace-keeping missions and PSYOPS and, English for Aviation, which provides crews with language training on the specific needs of the job.
She has run Somerset House since 1998 .

Rodrigo Soria - GENERAL MANAGER and TEACHER

Rodrigo holds a TESOL Advanced Certificate from London University, a Certificate in Marketing and a Further Certificate for teachers of Business English, both from LCCI. (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry)
He has also a degree in management from ORT University.
He has worked in the ELT field for 8 years

Victoria Soria - TEACHER

Although Victoria teaches different levels, she is a young-learner specialist.
She is a pre-schoolteacher with a degree from Universidad Católica Dámaso Antonio Larrañaga and is currently doing the Cambridge TKT course.
She has taught EFL since 2003

Michael Hellmer - TEACHER

Mike was born in New York, USA.
From 1982 to 1986 he did courses in English and History at University of Maryland and in 1990 he completed his TELF training at Centro de Idiomas Liverpool in Alcalá de Henares, Spain.
He served in the US Air Force as a electronic warfare systems and intelsystem analysis technician.
He has worked as a Teacher of English in Spain and in Montevideo, for different schools and in-company, as well as being a freelance translator.
At Somerset House, he specializes in language training for pilots and advanced students.

Patricia Puertas - ASSISTANT

Patricia is our secretary and she helps us with andministrative tasks. She is currently training to sit for Cambridge CPE.
